The latest UFC FIGHT Night card, headlined by a middleweight clash between Conor McGregor and Demetrious Johnson, was the most-watched UFC event in history on FOX.
In fact, the network recorded nearly 100 million total viewers during its broadcast, making it the most watched show of the year.
However, the biggest story of the night was the fight itself.
McGregor defeated Johnson by first-round TKO in the co-main event to capture his first UFC title.
The winner was Conor McGregor, who defeated Johnson in just the third UFC title fight ever, on a card headlined by the greatest mixed martial artist in history, Demetrius Johnson.
The most popular UFC card of the last two decades (as of today) was the UFC Fight Night 1 between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano in 2013.
The event featured a title fight between Rousey, a former UFC title challenger, and Cat, who had recently become the first female to win a UFC title in the division.
The main event, Rousey defeating Zingana, took place in just four days.
